Beschreibung
Emile Pessard was professor of Harmony at the Paris Conservatory, and among his students were Maurice Ravel and Jacques Ibert. Although he composed more than a dozen operas and cantatas during his lifetime, one of his most well-known works has been this charming "Andalouse," for flute and piano. Arranged here for flute ensemble, the solo line begins in the first flute part, however, it is passed around the ensemble throughout the piece.
